Cheating Woman Calls Uber to Go to Hotel – and the Uber Driver Turns Out to Be Her Husband

Airport workers have some shocking confessions that when you think about it make sense, of course some push down on the scale to make bags show as overweight. Those scales probably aren’t properly calibrated anyway.

Maybe my all-time favorite secret travel confession:

But what about when you Uber to your hotel to cheat on your husband and the Uber driver turns out to be your husband?

On Tuesday, Yeimy and Jesús met up in the city of Santa Marta and decided to head to a motel for more privacy. Unfortunately for the couple, Yeimy was unaware that her husband had borrowed a friend’s vehicle and was driving using that friend’s Uber account to moonlight as a driver. They were notified by the Uber app that their driver was Leonardo, and so saw no need for concern.

If the husband hadn’t been breaking Uber’s rules, driving under someone else’s account, the jig wouldn’t have been up. But the truth would have come out eventually. Using Uber while cheating is stupid. There’s a record of exactly where you are and where you’re going. It stays in your account. Your spouse might see it. It’s certainly discoverable in legal proceedings.

The funny thing is it just doesn’t make any sense for frequent flyers to cheat as often as non-frequent flyers.
