A Norwegian flight from Oslo to Munich had to turn around because of lavatory problems. Or as Google translate puts it, due to “a mistake on the toilets on board.” That sort of ‘crap’ happens all the time.

However what was unique about flight DY1156, besides having to circle to burn off fuel before landing back in Oslo, is that there were 85 employees of a plumbing company on the plane and “60-70 of them plumbers.” They were all headed together to an event in Munich.

According to the CEO of the company Rørkjøp,

We would have liked to fix the restrooms, but unfortunately it had to be done from the outside and we did not take the opportunity to send a plumber in line at 10,000 meters. Became sporty and good atmosphere in the plane with the irony in tight toilets, he says to Dagbladet.

Question: How many plumbers does it take fix the lavatories on a Norwegian 737?

Answer: 85? No, not enough.
