Marriott will give you 1000 points for answering a simple question on Twitter.

Your Marriott Rewards and Twitter accounts need to be connected of course, but they give you points for that too.

For the Googlely-challenged they’re looking for ‘1951 #RewardsPoints’.

Bear in mind that points earned via social don’t extend the expiration date of your account. And also that Marriott points transfer 3:1 into Starwood Preferred Guest.

  1. Many people, including myself, are getting 5,000 points today. The first 1,000 posted almost immediately, and when I logged in to my account later, there were a total of 5 individual 1,000 point entries for today’s trivia question.

  2. @Richard H. My wife and I got a total of 8,000 each. Don’t know why but I’m not complaining one bit.
