- “Business credit cards have several points in their favor” (get the pun?). I tell the Los Angeles Times about some of the advantages they offer.
“Spending on a business card can be better for your credit than putting the same spending on a personal card,” said Leff, “because business cards usually are not included in your personal credit report.
“So your spending on them should not reduce your utilization ratio [how much of your available credit you are using each month] and thus lower your personal credit score.”

Sure, I would brag about and amazing $3 laksa. I wouldn’t about a good-to-mediocre $15 one which I am sure this is going to become.
Thanks for the heads up on the AA flights to Merida. I LOVE the Luxury Collection Haciendas, such incredible properties – I highly recommend Hacienda Uayamon which is my favorite.

The math doesn’t really work out on that Mile High Club story…
1,000,000/2,000 = 500
This assumes she made just $2,000 for her full service service.
Two years = 730 days.
That means at her supposed going rate she had to have someone fly her 500 days over two years.
Is it possible she had 500 flights in two years? Maybe. But then again she did profess a preference for the longer U.S. routes to fully service her customers properly. And that makes the likelihood of her filling that 500 flight hole all the more complicated given turnaround times. If she got 4 flights a week in, that still puts her at a pace for 208 flights a year. Not enough to reach 500 in two years.
So she’d have to not only fly more than 4 times a week but she’d have to close a sale on just about every damn flight to get to 500. Of course if she could get it up…her rate I mean…she wouldn’t need as many total flights to achieve 1,000,000.
Is the math doable? Maybe. Does it seem likely. No.
Sure would like a reason to go back to New York City. Not quite as nice as Shanghai but less congested.
